In a rather 'varied' freelance career I have photographed a very wide range of subjects, from motor sports, athletics, gymnastics, football, rugby, squash, swimming, polo, water polo, three day events (horse trials), show jumping and many others, to cheque presentations, business appointments and craft workers, as well as undertaking portraiture and weddings - and not forgetting some wonderful days at sheepdog trials. It's sailing, however, that has always been the backbone of my work and the subject that I have written most about.
